old news. almost bought a home there. Lennar has a neighborhood out in Woodlands area.
Castle Rock has one out in cypress area.

pretty neat feature, but it runs about 16K thru the builders there to get a 1KW system, more panels = more money, which would take even longer to pay off.

some builders in there do a solar pre-wire, so you can do your own panels later. I think that's probably a better options, but seems they still charge a bit.
