Anyway, to answer your question. Go to Louisiana Foods Retail Market in Spring Branch. You will not be dissapointed with their daily Texas and Louisiana catches.

It may not be a "true" market, but the public can go there and buy fresh fish. They also sell meals there.

H mart is on Blalock road 1 block away from Ranch Market it is a large Korean chain and I think California based

But their fish is horrible not fresh

Ranch market is better, I always buy wild caught Norwegian Saba for $2.99/lbs cuz Salmon is expensive

I will never eat anything caught in Gulf of Mexico.

There is also some fish sold in Phonecia Market, imported from Greece but there is no label on them and I bought once and it does not smell and taste like wild caught and expensive like $9.99/lbs

Viet Hoa seems to have larger and fresher selection but there is no label on them. Wish I knew which ones are wild caught.
