Do I need to get flood insurance for my new house in Sugar Land ( Riverstone ) area ?
Do anybody have experience with Firemark insurance agency?

I am Riverstone and I am not required to get flood insurance since we're not in a flood zone and Riverstone does have a flood levy.

But that being said I still got one, just in case. Is few hundred a year, no big deal.

It depends on where you live, but it's not very expensive to cover what no homeowner's insurance policy will handle. We all live in relatively close proximity to the Brazos, and some of the newer subdivisions (Riverstone, Telfair, etc) are really close to the river.
