Young male Labrador-pit bull mix found running loose February 23 in southwest Houston. Collar but no tags or microchip; not neutered. Has received vaccinations, because he is now in boarding. About 35 pounds; stands about 2 1/2 feet. Very friendly and trusting--a wonderful dog who needs a loving home.

Because I already have five dogs and nine cats, I cannot keep this wonderful pet; because of his lineage, he is--utterly unfairly--being persecuted, and I cannot find a good shelter. Please help!

Default Young Male Lab..

I think you should change the title of the post from 'Found: Young male' to 'Found: Young Lab dog', or something. 'Sounds kind of, well, I don't know. 'Know what I mean?!

but it caught your attention.

Genius Marketing Hook.

About the Dog: I don't know if she will take a part pit bull, but you could try the lady at STAAR no kill shelter. West of Katy by the Igloo factory. It really is a true no kill. She's cared for unplaceable dogs for years through adoption/donation programs.http://www.staarnet.org/blog/
