From some of the reviews I read on Yelp, it appeared this store might be a good alternative for southeast-siders looking for organic and health foods. Is that a corrrect impression?

Would they carry things such as seitan or tempeh?

Not to be a jerk, but why not just go there...it's a grocery store, not an international trip.

Because I'm not yet living in the Houston area and am looking to find the right suburb, where I can be close to friends, but not too far from an organic market. Does that answer your question?

That's the only place I get groceries at. They sell plenty of "organic" stuff but I don't buy it since it's more money.

I go to HEB in Friendswood, they do have many organic items and specialty items like fresh sushi - I'm a vegan so I get the veggie rolls, I haven't seen seitan or tempah, but I've bought tofu there as well as tofu egg rolls (which are made fresh).
