Hi all. I am moving to Houston within the next month and I need a good dentist in the Tomball/Cypress area that is able to do adult braces/Invisalign.

Also, how long is the average wait to get a consultation? In NY, I had to make an appointment three months in advance to get in to see the dentist about braces. And then it would be another two months after that to get x-rays/cleanings done. Is this similar in Houston? Thanks!

We recently changed dental plans and happened upon a great dentist. www.cherrichdds.com My family says they are great, and they are midway between Tomball and Cypress on Jones Rd. I see they do Invisalign too.

That is one problem with many of the dental mills, the big chains. They like to have the cleanings and other work spread out over several appointments for some stupid reason. I suspect they can bill more for it or something. That is why we try to only go to independent dentists and get everything done in one visit.

Another good orthodontist is Dr. Kim Gee. He is further down Jones Rd closer to 290 and both of my older kids went to him. He did a great job on their teeth, but he only does orthodontics.
