I was just listening to some of her music and WOW she puts out such soulful and amazing music on a consistent basis. I think the country often forgets that she's from here. Its pretty awesome.

Jk. I like her and her music, she's very talented and more importantly, a very nice down to earth person (relatively speaking of course).
I agree. I love B'day and I Am Sasha Fierce. Her new album kinda blows but will always love her for her previous two. I would love to see her in concert someday.

She reps Houston quite a few times on her new album. Did you know her father filmed a reality show here based around his new girl group. The show is for MTV, but isn't shown here in the states.
I like Beyonce and think its cool she is from Houston but I can't say I would list that as a reason to be "proud" of Houston. The city didn't create her, two people did.
BTW, I've always liked Kelly better during the DC days.
