Great news for Houstonians:

Sprouts Farmers Market opened its first Houston-area store this week, and it will open its second next month.
Sprouts Farmers Market opens first Houston-area store - Houston Business Journal

It's a great store ( we have few in San Antonio ) - lots of produce, organic stuff, deli, meats, dry goods, vitamins and supplements. And all that much cheaper than at Whole Foods.

Great, more organic grocery stores for the west side of Houston... and still none for the southeast!

Unfortunately for right now, looks like they are aiming the Northwest locations:

The three announced locations will be a 25,300-square-foot development in Cinco Ranch at the southwest corner of Cinco Ranch Blvd. and Peek Road;
29,000-square-foot location in Copperfield Village Shopping Center, FM 529 and Highway 6;
and a 28,000-square-foot location within Spring Cypress Village at FM 249 and Spring Cypress Road.

but:

The company is also under negotiation for several other sites in the city, according to a prepared statement.
In Houston, Sprouts is also under negotiation for several other sites, said Ed Page, with UCR MoodyRambin Page, Sprout's the southeast Texas tenant representative.

Not driving to Katy for that.
Also, Not a fan of Trader Joes either. I don't get it. Lots of processed food promoted as healthy.

Okay, I was wondering that as that's by me and I hadn't seen anything happening.

Sprouts is one of my favorite stores! There's one right down the street from me. Glad Houston got one!
