Hi All,
I need help. We have been in the market for a house and looked at a few houses (maybe 15 tops) since November. The inventory is low here in the north and our realtor doesn't really email us anything. If we find something we want to see, she will take us there.
This week she is out of the country. She said that she was going to give us a name/number for her backup realtor before she left, but didn't. Lo and behold, we have a house we're very interested in and no realtor! She won't be back before the weekend and I'm afraid to wait that long to see the house.
What are my options now? She works with virtual real estate. I have called four agents on their website to find if anyone is working with her. So far no call backs.
So please help me figure this out!
Thanks.

I'd call the listing agent and explain to them your situation. Give the listing agent the name of your agent and ask if they will show you the home as a courtesy.

Unless you're signed to a contract, find another realtor. If the one you've been working with isn't doing what you need, move on.

Glad you found the partner. I was about to suggest to contact the listing agent.
