again...do the "East Side" folks scare you? Its odd people have no problem with taking minorities out their areas and dropping them into the ritzy areas but they go crazy when its reversed.

HISD has spent millions on trying to make Reagan High School their "cherished" high school in the Heights...built them a new school, damn near stole magnet programs from other schools in minority areas, but it ain't working.

FBISD may need to wise up or they'll find some KIPP Academy First Colony branch knocking on their door acting like an exclusive country club for residents

If you believe that Lexington middle is that much better then that's all you. I don't and if my info and memory is correct, the rating doesn't either. Let's get to Elkin high school,it's not a first colony school but a sienna plantation school and it's on par with Dulles which is a first colony school. So just because some first colony neighborhood will be zoned to non first colony schools, it really isn't that bad is it?
FYI: I believe all of Sienna Plantation is now currently zoned to Ridge Point High School in Sienna. When RPHS first opened, they did so with freshmen & sophomores only. Students in jr and sr years continued at Elkins & Hightower. RPHS held its first graduation this year, I believe.

I think that Riverstone is zoned to Elkins.
