Hi ,
I am thinking to contact the real estate agent for the houses I saw and liked on different website. So do you have any suggestions about good agent/ broker?

Get a realtor that specializes in the area you are interested in. They will know the schools, resale, the best neighborhoods to meet your needs, etc... You can check feedback from previous clients on HAR. Also, steer clear if the agent tries to bring you to their listings only. That is a bad sign.

Do not just use the sellers realtor. They are loyal to the sellers.

Do not let the listing agent's broker act as an intermediary either. That's when the listing agent's broker assigns an another agent from his office to represent you. Technically that agent would want to impress you for repeat business and referrals but personally I would avoid that situation.

As suggested, get a buyer's real estate agent. A skilled one has access to databases that are helpful when determining offers, and hopefully will have several years helping people get into new homes.
