We will be moving to the Spring/Tomball area in about 3-4 months and will be buying a house. We would like recommendations for a realtor with experience in the area. Would prefer to hear from buyers who can share their personal experiences, rather than directly from realtors. Thanks.

We bought in the South Tomball area, bordering Cypress, in early 2013. Our realtor was Shannon Lester and we LOVED her! She is now working with my mother-in-law to buy in the same general area.

Ruben Villarreal at Remax.

He was our buyers agent and will be our selling agent when it's time. Very in tune with the local market.

Is there anyone that can advise on Rental homes? I want to move to this area of town due to new job offer in the 249/Louetta area. I currently live in Sienna Plantation and the drive would just kill me eventually.

Depends on what you want to pay. There's a lot of rentals but the nicer neighborhoods are pretty expensive. Since you live in Sienna I'd assume you'd want newer construction so that's upward $2100-2300 and so on.

Though you could get a big 1992 and back to 1970s something for under $2000 but the updates in those houses are killer sometimes. Many look like not a thing has changed since it was first built. People out here aren't as gunho on remodeling with stainless steel everything on a 40 year old house like in the Loop in Spring Branch. If it's 1977 you're going to know.

Rentals seem to be going higher these days with all the influx of people moving to Texas, but a good realtor could help you find the right house probably.
