I didn't see anybody on the news saying it
Stay off of the highways (full of overpasses) and only take roads that have few bridges.

I did that on Friday morning on my way to work which is 25 miles away
First 20 miles, piece of cake, last 5 miles I got on the highway.... I was c....ping my pants everytime I drove on an overpass.

The National Weather Service has it in the forecast. I'd imagine it will hit the news 2moro.

For those of you who are dreading this blast of cold air, just count your blessings and be thankful you don't live in Chicago. Tomorrow they're seeing a high of only -2.

There is starting to be some chatter that this could be an historic event.

What the two days in a somewhat row? Or whatever the weather is on Tuesday?

The last ice I remember that lasted for a bit was about January 1996. I believe it was 1996 because I have pictures with a dog I had then and I swear on picture is dated January 6 or 8, 1996.

It was the ice/snow and the ground was white white.

I think the potential amount of snow/ice that may fall.... Impact could be from Mon night through Weds morning as far as the roads being iced over. But there is consensus from all the various computer models that we will see some accumulation of snow/ice.
