Hi , We are going to move to Sugar Land TX in MAy
My husband put deposit for apartment in West Side zip code 77498 of Sugar land,
but I heard its pretty bad area to live and i checked the schools looks like we made a bad choice
Would anyone recommend where to look for apartment rentals ? My son plays hockey and I want him to attend a good school..He is 9 years old
South?

I live at landmark sugar land and like it.
I don't have school age kids so that was not a concern for me.

Perhaps the Rosenberg area would be a good fit depending on where the work is for you guys.

Sugar Land overall is a great place to be, but you're right, some areas are better than others. Look for something closer to 59 and 6, it's a very busy area but may have some better options.

yeah, if you are in that area code, it's a rough area ( right on highway 6 northing of 90)

I'd recommend moving more south ( i.e. south of 90)

You must be mixing up 90 with another road.

Sugar Land is fine, generally south of West Airport Blvd.

Otherwise, you're claiming the Ballpark, the Imperial development, and all of the nice neighborhoods north of 90 are "rough"... which is totally untrue.

Exactly.

But as stated, it's best to stay south of West Airport Blvd in general, because the areas north of that -- though some may have Sugar Land addresses -- don't all have good schools, and are closer to Alief lite.
