Kids, dogs, close friends..we all get in the shower at the same time. Everyone gets a quick lather and out. Running around the backyard nekked decreases the drip dry time too. If we are feeling frisky, we reuse the water to wash the cars.

I'm just trying to find more volunteers, the more people we get, the more water we save

Droughts are a reality for us now. The fun of global warming means more chaotic weather patterns. Eventually, we are going to have to figure out alternatives. I also think they should raise water prices now to start funding more water projects. It also might get people to not waste as much water.
Now, on a serious note
wouldn't it be easier to push programs to save water such as xeriscaping and planting trees, which reduce temperatures and retain humidity.

I'm sure somebody is gonna say what I heard some guy saying a few years ago "Why do they want so many trees here?" As if you can have too many trees in Texas.

I would love to save more water but my HOA sends me letters if one piece of grass blade is dead. I even got a letter about dead grass in the winter. The letters after wrinkling them a few times make great toilet paper.

I xeriscaped the small rectangle of grass in my house in San Antonio and it made watering the front yard so much easier. A few months later I got a letter from HOA saying that I was supposed to get permission before doing that. Here's a f........ Idea = Add what I did to your list of what is acceptable to do
