Hello everyone...I am considering a move from Spring over to Tomball area and am interested in the Northpointe area. Does anyone have any opinions on this neighborhood that they could share? I have one daughter who would be going into 5th grade. I'm hesitant to move her from her current K-5 school, but she seems ok with it Thanks so much, I appreciate it!

I live about a mile from Northpointe. I also moved to Tomball from Spring.

We love it out here. My kids are older, but my neighbors really like the schools. A lot of the neighbors already lived in the area, when they built where I am.

The only downside, and it's a temporary one, is the construction on 249 and the Grand Parkway. Northpointe is right in the thick of things.

What's the reason to move from Spring to Tomball?

We have the Exxon campus over here, so I am all too familiar with the construction! I am recently separated and the house we have been renting is now going on the market. So, it's time to make a move. My daughter goes to gymnastics 4-5 hours a day in Cypress (Grant Rd) and I think it would make things easier for us both to be closer. Everything is up in the air! Lots of changes in just a little time

We live in the Wildwood at Northpointe development and love it! We don't have kids, but the schools are new, close and well rated. Things are convenient, but not so close as to be noisy or busy. Feel free to message me with questions of you want.

For us, it was the neighborhood. Nothing in Spring had what we needed in a new build.

Now that we're here (three years this month), we both find that we like living in between 249 and 290 better, than 249 and 45. We lived in between Ella and Holzworth, off of Louetta before.

I liked looking in the Wildwood area, although at the time there was a lot of road construction that made it difficult to get in and out. We didn't choose the area because it wasn't the best for our commutes, but if it were closer to work we'd probably be living there too.

Thanks so much everyone! As of yesterday, it seems like this move is pretty definite. Can anyone offer opinions on choosing between Lennar and Meritage? Both have models that I like and that would work. Nervous to make a decision too quickly!

Speak with both of them and go with the one you feel is a better deal.

To me, both builders are about the same. Just make sure to get whatever you buy inspected.
