I just had my locks rekeyed and they were done well by Houston Safe & Lock. They used to be called Alief Memorial Locksmith (?) and are located right on Westheimer just east of the Beltway on the north side of the street. Also, I don't know if they're still there or not but the Memorial City Sears used to have a free-standing little key kiosk in the west side parking lot.

The Memorial City Sears key kiosk is still there (it's got to be one of the only ones of those left).

Agree with Berings, though, never had a problem. Also, the ACE Hardware places usually do a good job.

I agree with King Safe. Good place. I also like Reed's Key Shop. Done keys there too. All fit perfectly. He also has odd keys ( European style).

I go to Sears or Home Depot. Only had a problem once, took them back and they fixed it.

Another vote for Reeds, worth it just for the abuse they dish out. Top lads!
