My aunt is interested in moving with me to either DFW or Houston in 2015. However, she is interested in farm land. They don't speak much English so I'm doing most of the research for them. Her husband is a certified organic farmer-he grows fruits and vegetables. I'm not sure if they're interested in having farm animals as well. They currently work on a farm now in Boston.

Where can they buy or maybe rent land to grow crops? Or, where should they start looking?

Thanks

FYI...posted this in the Dallas forum as well.

We have a section under www.HAR.com that is Country Homes/Acreage. However, our climate is different from Dallas. Research what grows in both areas before you settle on either one.

These are key questions, along with a million more. Does she need to be near you, are we talking vegetables, orchards, small gardens one works alone, large gardens requiring tractors, yada yada.

Give us some background, and we can help.

Good luck on your move!
