Can someone point me towards a website that tracks rainfall for the Houston area? weather.com used to offer this data, but for some inexplicable reason, it seems to have removed monthly and annual data.

Due to the type of "training" rainstorms we've been having, the "official" measurement closest to your neighborhood may not reflect the amount of rain that actually falls on your yard. An inexpensive rain gauge from Lowe's or HD on your property will be more accurate.

That website has gauges located all over Harris County. It's easy to find the gauge closest to your home.

Seems like those gauges are placed along bayous and major drainage ditches. The closest one to my home is nearly a mile away. Due to the pattern of rainfall coverage in the Houston area, it doesn't accurately show the amount that falls on my street.
