Ran some numbers through my current insurance company, (car, renters, jewelry)mans they quoted me around $1,605. For a 1900 sqft brand new brick house sell price of 210k.

I'm not sure how competitive this is, so I wanted to ask, if you could recommend an insurance provider to have a quote run though, I'm all ears.

Thanks,

You can't compare insurance based on the price you pay. Policy limits, deductibles and far too many variables to just compare pricing

If you are eligible, use USAA. They have the best customer service and have never given me any issues.

It's good to check around with a few providers. An independent agent can quote various carriers and educate you on the difference in terms of coverage. I'll pm you a link to look up that info.

I have usaa and their homeowners rates were rediculously high, so high that we moved our auto policy away from them as well and combined both homeowners and auto with travelers

We shopped on our new home 2 years ago and found USAA our best option. Amica was the other option that was a great value.

I also bailed on USAA after 15 years and 4 houses, as their rates were astronomical in Ft. Bend Co. Went w/ Ameriprise through Costco both home and auto, quite happy.

I had them before when I was living out in the west and I was pleased with them too.
Now, does Ameriprise provides home owners insurance for Harris County/Cypress?

Brick house? Like house built from bricks?
I did not know those exist in TX.. I thought all houses here are built from wood with bricks used just as a siding.

Did you build it yourself or have you bought it from developer?

Sorry I left out some details, yes I built it with my own hands. And it's not brick, It's actually cinderblocks and mud.
