Residents of Baltimore, MD are rising up not only against the murder of #FreddieGray but a long and brutal history of police and state violence against their communities. (http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/...timore/391158/)

This is a monumental moment of struggle - let's show the brave folks in B'more, Ferguson, and around the country and the world, that Htown stands with them. Come out this Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30pm, at the intersection of Southmore & 288. Bring posters, signs, your voices and your rage!

For more information, check out this document by organizers in #Baltimore: http://baltimoreuprising.org/

Why not march up and down Smith and Louisiana instead like the Shell refinery workers last month? Saw a South Vietnamese protest at Post Oak and Westheimer on Sunday--surprised that there is nobody going to the "Speakers' Corner" of Houston on this subject.

I commute west, and my car rides too low.

A pickup with a cattle guard or cow catcher like a train would work like a charm.
