I'm looking to move into a town home that's actually off Space Center Blvd, "in between" El Dorado and Bay Area. I know this general area along Bay Area and El Dorado from 45 and on is kind of a cesspool but the neighborhoods in between them, what do you guys think? Off Seahorse Dr.

I think in general, the apartments off El Dorado west of HW3 are not stellar. There's a lot of crime there and many of the complexes are condos, so you have individual owners that may not have the highest standards when it comes to rental maintenance.

I know the complex you're talking about, and it's perfectly fine. You're right across space center from Bay Forest and just south of Bay Oaks; those are 2 of the nicer subdivisions in clear lake proper.

there are some luxury rentals further east on Bay Area and further south on space center, but the location you're looking at is good. Very convenient.

I used to live in Bay Oaks. Drove plenty of times on Seahorse going towards JSC. That area was just fine 5 years ago. Not sure what has happened since then. I doubt much has changed.
