where is the best place to buy kid/tween furniture? Looking for new beds and desk. Preferably something that looks decent and will last 4-5 years.

Funny, I was going to recommend looking at both of those places, for a girl anyway. You can get a few pretty substantial Ikea pieces-- their trundle bed weighs 220 lbs and is a good deal if you can load it and put it together yourself. That white matches PBKids white desks & hutches, for example. I also found Highland Village PB cheaper than the online route. You can also get funky looking miniature office chairs from Wayfair.

Wayfair and OverStock.com are great. For Brick and Mortar, I've yet to find a store that carries the kids selection that Rooms To Go does. Ikea's good to, but I hate HATE putting furniture together myself LOL
