Hello, I'm a 20 yr old student and I need help finding affordable housing, preferably on the north side no more then 500$! If you can, list the apartment names.

I can't advise you on specific places on the north side, but I can say that for that price (500/month) you should strongly consider looking for roommates. I'm not up on the newest ways to do that on the web, but I've done it before several years ago and it worked out well. Obviously, there can be issues but if you get roommates, you'll be able to get a decent place. You won't be able to get a decent place for 500 if you look on your own.

i was going to suggest the same as PP. your best bet is to look for rooms for rent/roommate wanted. it's not ideal, but for $500/mo it's going to be the best bet in find a decent place.

$500 was like 20 years ago, and even then it was cheap. If you do find a place for that little, you may not be safe.

You may be able to rent a room in someones home. It still may be a challenge at that price.
