After much tease, the Chronicle declares the In-N-Out burger really is on the verge of arriving in Houston.

Tried it in San Francisco, don't see what the fuss is all about.

I live in the Bay Area and trust me there is nothing special about it. I was really excited to try it out after moving here, I was not impressed in the least.

You have to keep in mind that a person raised in Houston or Texas has tried much better tasting burgers.

In n out burgers definitely aren't the best burgers I've had, but they are pretty good compared to a lot of fast food chains, at least the in n out locations that I eat at are.

I will say this though, the ones in the bay area are average fast food burgers, the best In n out burger locations I have eaten at are the one in Roseville, and the one in Orange.

yay.... another burger chain coming to town. Feel the excitement of stuff prepared and packaged months ago, unpackaged and heated up just for us.

Does anyone else think the name is a bit weird? Along the same lines, they could have also named it Quickie Burgers? Or how about Nooner Burgers? Rocks-Off Burgers? LOL

For a fast food burger, they are better than McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Sonic and Krystal.

It's not fair comparing it to something like Christian's Tailgate or any of the other really good burger joints.

When people talk about how good In and Out is, it's in comparison to other fast food chains with a drive through.

I rank it with Whataburger, but with much better shakes. Whataburger needs to steal some Chick Fil A shake machines.

They're only good animal style. A regular In N Out burger is good but nothing to write home about.

Lived in So. California for seven years, never understood what the big deal was about In N Out Burger. Greasy.

Wait, you don't have any yet? Dallas has had them for like 7 years. Personalty I think they are better than the overpriced and over hyped What-A-Burger. In fact, the only huge WAB fans I know are Texas Natives. Both chains have sub-par fries, but at least the secret menu at In-N-Out means animal style burgers and fries, which are awesome.
