I'm looking at purchasing 1 of 2 homes out of the many i have looked at. The determing factor will be the ability to build the garage I want on the lot.

I'm looking at building a 30x40x10 or 40x40x10 Garage built to the HOA requirements. I'd like to get the information in order to sumbit to each HOA to see if it would be approved BEFORE making an offer on the house.

If your interested in bidding on the job, please PM me.

Thanks so much.

Your idea will not work. Most communist HOAs take from 3-6 months to approve plans. I might suggest you contact them to ask and get a verbal what they are looking for. Most important would be to check with zoning. It is them you will have to go through first before HOA even hears what you want. Your realtor might help you there but if not take a trip to City Hall and go to Zoning or the Building Dept and ask. Bring with you a copy of the plat plan as they will need that to answer your questions.

Sorry I cant help you on the price because the price p/sqft is different all over. That is a mighty serious garage your talking about. You sure it is not to live in? Wow ! That is like a 20 car garage? Or 50 Horses?

Thanks for the information I will contact Magnolia and Montgomery to see what zoning limits/requirements exist. I should probably just call some builders in the are and explain the situation. They would be more familiar with the zoning, and i already have the HOA requirements I could fax them.

Yes, serious indeed. I currently have a 40X22 garage here in MI and it's full... You can never have TO BIG of a garage!

Thanks again.
