By "South Texas University" are you referring to South Texas College of Law? Or do you mean Texas Southern University?

77346 is Atascosita. Humble ISD.

Highway 59 going into town is not so bad. STCL is in downtown. 30-40 minute commute.

I lived there for 4 years before getting married and moving to San Antonio a few years ago. Fantastic area, I lived in Kings River Village. If I could move back tomorrow I would. The schools are great, lots of restaurants, and jogging trails. Good Luck!

King's River is Kingwood schools. It's the only Kingwood neighborhood south of the bridge (in 77346) on Lake Houston Parkway. South of that becomes Atascocita schools. Just in case you were wondering.

Generally a wonderful area to live. Lots of trees. Schools in Atasocita are getting better, from what I've heard. Commute is going to get worse though. 30-40 minutes now might be closer to an hour with traffic or in a year with more people moving up this way.
