I will defer to your experience about Innes there. My only 790 listening has been Rockets, without exception.

610 has been tolerable when I listen, which is mainly wake up and getting home after dark.

I check every so often to see if CP turns up somewhere. His shows were better when the teams did well, so it's a shame he isn't around for the Texans playoffs, Rockets ascension. Also miss the Bull Sessions, and weekly talks with the coach (not so much Brian Cushing who was a boring guest).

---------------------------------

Did find this...

Josh Innes upbeat about future, regrets swipe at Charlie Pallilo

Since Innes' debut Oct. 10 replacing longtime afternoon host Charlie Pallilo, KBME has lost almost two-thirds of Pallilo's audience from late September, falling to a 0.9 percent share of men 25-54 from 3-7 p.m.

Innes also said this...

Asked if he had learned anything in his return to Houston that he thinks will help his long-term success, he wrote, "I told myself that I wouldn't take any jabs at Charlie then I did it anyway. I shouldn't have done that. Reality is that I have nothing against the guy and wish him well.

What was the swipe?

One of the things I heard him say on the air was that he could fart and produce ratings higher than Charlie.

Well... not so much big boy. You got the Rockets doing well, and the Texans in the playoffs, and the numbers are down. That's no bueno. What will happen in the dog days of baseball season?
