Not sure that is necessarily crime related.

But those areas do have higher crime (along with the business areas) according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

It's an exceptionally safe suburb - the closest it is to trouble is several miles down I-45, you should definitely be fine.

Lets just say crime is so low in all of The Woodlands that folks have started to fill up neighborhood FB pages with how attrocious for neighbors to park their cars out on the street instead of in their garage. And here I am now in OC California, where garages are used for storage and everyone parks their cars on the street. All of The Woodlands is very safe. My personal preference is Sterling Ridge village.

The Woodlands is pretty safe. Like Others have said you don't start running into crime ridden areas till you go further down I-45 south. Which isn't considered The Woodlands.

There are no dangerous areas in The Woodlands, although there are some low income apartments in Grogan's Mill and Panther Creek

The Woodlands is nowhere close to being dangerous. When Woodlands starts having murders & shootings, drug transactions & loitering on corners, then we can revisit this subject.

You can say The Woodlands is the safest place in the World
Reality is ... there's always crime close to major highways ... because it's easy for criminal to get away from the place where they committed the crime.
