For schools - it depends on where you have a job. Do you have a job lined up?

The Pakistani community is all over town - I believe established Pakistanis seem to like NW Harris County while recent immigrants like SW Houston.

The area centered around Bissonet and Dairy Ashford in southwest Houston is your best bet.

Over 300 realtors in Houston speak Urdu. I recommend Aida Younis in Sugarland.

Another good Pakistani Realtor is Ghias Akram. I have watched him with his clients - and he cares about getting them what they need. Vicman is right - your job location is a big factor - Houston is much bigger than you might think.

Also if your friends are consular employees, they should look in NW Harris County/Cy-Fair, as the Pakistani Consulate is on Jones Road.
