And the band steps out for another encore, only to find out everyone's gone home and they've taken down the stage

So we're gonna rock from the street

As usual, great photos jfre. No one takes better Houston photos than you, and I've seen some good ones online.

Thanks. I've personally walked the streets with people who have better Houston photos than I do, but I'll take it.
Thing is, a lot of them have gone quiet or have moved. *whistles*

My next visit, I want to focus on three places, if I can get to them all - Midtown, the East End and Third Ward. These sessions were intended to cover the areas that I did on the first photo walk/tour I posted here in 2008.
(All you're going to see there now is some blurred out, watermarked stuff because I've lost access to my Photobucket account that hosted it and they did that after I quit paying them. But you probably saw it before, you're oldschool here)

Right now I'm hoping for April/May before the triple digit heat indexes.

Not personally. I know of him and his cooperative. Kicks serious ass. I'm probably past my urbex prime, so I'll just pull his stuff up and live vicariously.

Keep in mind that I generally steer clear of Instagram. I'd probably have 4000 followers there instead of the 400 I've got on Flickr, but I don't care. The geometrics/abstracts/textures tend get more appreciation from the Europeans who still use Flickr heavily anyway, and probably don't care where it is. The IG crowd is still mainly looking for teenage girls with doggy-face filters and other such drivel.
