Good. My daughter was very sick and was at Texas Children's Hospital for a week and was given the best treatment available. This is one of the best hospital's for kids in my opinion.

My son has Muscular Dystrophy and I am from NY, I have taken him to hospitals in NY and Boston. I thought Boston was the best, until I went to Texas Childrens when we moved here. The Dr's and staff were very thorough unlike anything I have ever encountered before. They spent as much time as you needed answering any and all questions you may have. They did all their testing that day, so you didn't have to repeatedly come back to the labs and the Dr's called themselves with any results rather than an assistant or secretary. And the hospital is clean. I obviously loved it.

It's the 6th best pediatric hospital in the country. It's always a busy hospital and parking garages fill up everyday. That's a good thing.

My daughter has kidney problems and when we moved out there the doctor that was recommended to us was at TX Children's Hospital. He was great! I will say that I like her previous doctor more but the TX C.H. doctor was still fabulous and very well known! When I moved to Virginia the new doctor that I found had actually attended seminars given by the TX Children's doctor!

My daughter goes their quite frequently for a multitude of things, and we have never had a bad experience. I will say that you should valet park, it's so much easier and it's right there by the front doors. DO call them ahead of you leaving the hospital so you don't have to wait so long to leave. Getting out of the place is easy, but it's kinda hard to find your way back to where you need to be. I have been going there for over 13 months and still get confused when I leave.
If you need the name of a good doctor (we have seen many, many specialists) please feel free to email me.
