Well, these ARE Houston suburbs so plan on some congestion.


Although driving through Presonwood on a week night is not intolerable.

Just saw this, and I suppose it's too late for this year, but for future reference, Christmas lighting in Pecan Grove is still a HUGE deal. Neighborhood maps, hayrides, bumper-to-bumper traffic on the main drag on Saturday night (but not so bad once you're off Plantation Drive). I would go on a weeknight, or go right after dark. FYI for next year!

Prestonwood is always top notch. Don't be lazy, leave your car outside and walk there.

Is Prestonwood the one with themed lighting/decorations on a series of long cul-de-sac streets? We went a couple years ago to one like that but I could never remember the name of the neighborhood. Prestonwood sounds familiar for some reason. It was fantastic.

Prestonwood Forest, to be more correct.
Willowbrook area.
They do themed lighting/decorations.
It is always HUGE there!
