Is there any place in Houston or within a reasonable driving distance (less than 90 min) that has a decent Christmas Light driving tour? It can be a neighborhood that really has spirit or an official place like Wheeling, WV Oglebay Park Festival of Lights. Have a high risk person in the household so prefer a driving tour or drive thru destination.

Any response to this? I've been searching and cannot find any. I'm very much surprised a region the size of Houston would not have a driving Christmas/Holiday light place nearby, especially this year, when they are quite common in other parts of the country.

Perfect! Thank you!

Also heard Greatwood and Pecan Grove residents decorate a lot. Is that still happening this year?

Green Tea in Pearland has beautiful lights. They have a bike tour and hayride, but that was on December 12th, this year. Not sure if you can drive through the neighborhood on your own.

Just went through Green Tea last night. There were at least 3 houses with people outside dancing and singing Christmas tunes. Not all the houses are decorated, but some that are decorated are spectacular.

River Oaks is the neighborhood for you when it comes to Christmas lights. It was pretty packed this weekend. You also have the lights at Splashtown in Spring ($40 dollar per car online).

No kidding! We tried to check out River Oaks this past Saturday evening and nearly the entire neighborhood was gridlocked. I feel sorry for the poor residents who were just trying to get home. We'll try again to see it, and will pick a weeknight next time.
