Possibly planning a trip and considering the Marriott in sugar land town Square. What is in this area not to be missed dining, entertainment etc.

Mucho help appreciated.

there are lots of restaurants in the area that you will enjoy. I like the cheese cake factory for lunch. Maybe then try either cafe adobe in that area or Kona Grill if you like sea food.

If you like to shop, there is probably a store for all you needs in town center / First Colony Mall. Just walk around.

My wife likes to just drive around the area... she loves driving down Palm Royale and seeing all the mega mansions...I then have to bring her back to reality... :P

The Burning Pear and Perry's Steakhouse which is inside and adjucent are very good places to eat. If you're into pets there a little dog clothes store by the fountian. They have done a fantastic job of giving Sugar Land a "city center" and there is always a lot going on there. During the summer they show movies on the steps of city all on a giant screen.

If you like loud crowds, formula food, reheated rolls, pre-grated parmesan cheese, and waiters with opening lines like 'Hi, my name is Rusty", Sugar Land is perfect for you. Dress casual, say like what you might see in Farmers Almanac!

Fernando's comes the closest to being an 'original', but there has yet to be a Sugar Land restaurant show up among the area's 'best'. Go into Houston to discover some of the names that have made it a nationally ranked spot for Great Restaurants....Mark's, Cafe Annie, Brennan's, Backstreet Cafe, Daily Revue, Quattro, Churrascos, Hugo's, Benji's, Goode Co. BBQ, the "original" Ninfa's...many more! Sugar Land? Sorry.
