Hi. I just moved to Katy and I wanted to know any good dentist with great prices like for cleaning, filling, braces, etc... I saw Avalon Dental next to H.E.B. and wanted to know if anyone have been there?

I am sure there are plenty of fine dentists in the Katy area but I don't know any of them. However, if you don't mind driving to Dairy Ashford, my dentist, Rick Hammond is fabulous. I had been with another dentist for years but he was just too far away, too expensive and didn't file insurance. But I have not regreted a moment with Dr. Hammond and I just can't say enough nice things about him. He is on Dairy Ashford, north of Memorial but south of I-10 on the west side of the street just behind the Jack-in-the-Box.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Julie Long here in Katy for a few years and love her! She is off of Grand Pkwy, 281-395-1700.
I don't know her rates because they always just file our insurance.
Good luck!

I have been seeing Hans Schleicher at I-10 and Campbell for many years. He is fantastic and has a very good "bedside manner."

I wouldnt use a dental clinic for othodonic care. If you dont mind driving try advance orthodonics at Briar Forest and the Belt. They are great.
I go to the Med center for dental work. Kerry Bloom

Is Doctor Julie Long really gentle as well as her staff? I am leaving my long time dentist here and I trust him and he is SO gentle. I am very happy to be hearing about dentists. They are so important and they have to be gentle. That is the hardest doctor to find.
