Too funny! Good point though, they had better not interrupt the opening Saturday of college football for Gustav updates every five minutes...there will be some pretty pissed off people in our house. Fortunately the Big 10 Network is unlikely to do that, and that's the most important channel this weekend!

The sad but true part is that the problem with the traffic and evacuation is that people freak out and those who evacuate on the far North and West side and those in-between most likely don't need to but they clog up the road for those closest to the coast who need to evacuate and we have the Rita situation with traffic. Then the weather people freak and so everyone makes fun of them and says NEVER again will I get in that mess but when you see people who road out high wind storms in their homes (and survived) they almost always say they were scared to death, praying for their lives and that they'd never do it again. It just runs the gamut.

Got an "official" call from the City of Seabrook a little while ago. So far so good, "No action on my part is needed"! Let's hope it stays that way!
Got us a generator today.....Just in case!

It all stops being funny when your relatives from Texas/Louisiana border call that they are driving on the way to YOUR house (grrr). I should have left town for the weekend :-(.
