Drove by a couple of lit up homes tonight:

The first one is near Briar Forest and Siegler, just East of the Beltway in West Houston:

This second one is the same house I posted photos of last year, but it's so awesome, I decided to take some more photos. Near Kemp Forest and Gessner, in North West Houston:

Will post more later. Feel free to post your own discoveries here.

It's on Briarbrook Dr.

If you're driving east on Briar Forest, turn left on Seagler (first light east of the beltway), than right on Cedar Creek Dr, then left on Briar Brook. It's the second or third house on the left.

The blues & whites look harsh. They might be LED's. If so he's probably not spending more than $5-10 for the month they're on. Perfect lights for someone who really wants to go apesh**.

I've been hearing good things about a neighborhood named Green Tea Terrace in Pearland for lights....any thoughts?

Harsh? I think the blues and whites -- and all the other lights -- are awesome. I'd love it, even if I were the next-door neighbor.

In fact, the neighbors across the street from me used to decorate their house lavishly for years. They had a classic red convertible car that they decorated as Santa's sleigh, with a lifesize Santa figure, and they piled the car full of fake wrapped gifts. It took them a week to set up all the decorations and lights. Our street was often bumper-to-bumper with cars whose owners had stopped to take photos, etc. It brought so much joy to so many people that I was never bothered by the traffic. I was deeply saddened when they stopped decorating a few years ago.

WOW! That first one is impressive. It must’ve taken some time to do! Even the branches on the trees way up there are covered! I hate to see that electric bill .
