Funny you should say that...I thought the same thing! Inside it's kind of "businessperson" darkish decor, not "pretty pretty". And it's just one large room, no interesting design layout or divider/separations. But it was still nice.

Don't know if Carrabba's meets your criteria for "non chain" ( I think there's more than one) but I've heard it's very good.

When I'm paying that much to go there...

it better be great inside and out! I'm paying the same as any restaurant in TownCenter... yet it looks like a sad old building outside!

Imagine the profit the owner is making by charging you that much and still being in an old rundown strip mall.
