What happened to the police here? Today alone, I saw 4 people that got pulled over and numerous other cops lurking somewhere to get us. It's been really bad recently, or is this just my area? I used to see a LOT less police cars. I don't really keep up with the local politics... did they increase the police presence?
I mean, I know the crime went up, but all they do is pulling people over. Don't see how this is gonna get the crime down.

I noticed the same thing. Driving from Katy to HWY 6, I noticed quite a few this morning and around lunch time.

Police are very inconsistent when it comes to speeding tickets. Sometimes you'll get passed by one as you're going 80, and other times you'll get a ticket for going 70 in a sting operation.

Just get a good radar/laser detector and you'll be fine.

I wouldn't say lately. It's been going on all over town since I moved back here in 2003.

No, I never noticed that. It's really bad right now. I usually look out for them. And after my last speeding tcket I do have a radar detector - a very good one

I notice the pigs getting more aggressive too. Many residents are challenging their property taxes and winning causing the city loss. People are buying less so there are less sales taxes flowing in to the crooked corrupt city coffers. The easy way to make up the shortfall is to instruct the fat azzed donut munching pig domestic terrorist street thug gangs to extort more from us innocent motorists.

And there are few among us who can say with honesty that the pigs are obeying the same silly little laws that they are jambing down our throats. When was the last time anyone saw a pig doing the speed limit? When was the last time anyone saw a pig stop at a stop sign? When was the last time anyone seen a pig use their directionals? I know, and that burns my azz. Seems many feel what is ok for the goose is not ok for the........ Laws are written and enforced only for some.

Whatever those members of the worlds largest street thug gangs do to us, we will continue to drive at the safe speeds that we wish to and take our chances I guess. Most of them have no idea what a real crime is. To them doing 65 in a 60 zone is a crime. Yet they ignore those sitting in the left lane doing 40 in a 60 with the phone in their ear.
