Hey Folks, I am new to the H-town and need some advise on the traffic situation.I work 5 days a week 7:30-4 Mon-Fri near 610 & 290.I am planning to move some where near mid-town,just wondering how the traffic is gonna be during my commute.Thanks in advance!!!

That is a tough one. 20 minutes is my guess. I-45 to I-10 to 610 north is probably the fastest. The real traffic will be on I-45 to I-10. After that it will be pretty quick. Enjoy midtown.

You should look in the Heights or the Rice Military area. Would be a much easier commute and still lots of bohemian vibe.

Live in Midtown and eat the commute. It is worth it. Don't have to worry about a DWI because you can walk to bars. It is just more fun.

Well, your early hours will help with the commute. Still, I would live as close to IH10 as possible.
