I personally hate comcast, they will try to ********* any way that they can, I would say go with Vonage, I use Magic jack myself teh $20 a year phone and it works great. Love it. I think with Vonage you get more, ie long distance, with comcast I think its more for long distance uneless you just get a basic phone package, but in the end I think Vonage is more bang for your buck so to speak.

Sorry if that did not all come out right and make sense.

Most ppl will hate me when i say go with Comcast...ONLY and ONLY if you have other services with them... if you have cable tv and internet and if you bundle the fone within a big package, you'll save a few $$ (upto $10) i think...

I have both Comcast Digital Voice and Vonage. When I first moved into my new home there was a major problem with my Comcast Digital voice and it did not work for weeks. So because I needed a home phone I went out to Best Buy bought Vonage and hooked it up to my high speed and it worked perfectly. Since then I never switched back even though Digital Voice is fixed I only use it as a fax line...Long story short Vonage works very well and comcast is sort of just around cause I need internet and Windstream internet won't cut it.

I'm not a fan of comcast but their bundles do save me $$. Otherwise, I would have stayed with vonage.
