I think this publication is available in the MD Anderson intranet only...

I couldn't get the link to work either. Now I'm curious...can you give us the gist of the article? Was there a critical thread somewhere about MDA, is that why you titled this "another perspective"?

hmmm... sorry everyone. I didn't realize the orig link wouldn't work for outsiders. I posted the article, but it looks like i can't do that either.

It's an article about MDA's Dining Services hiring some temporary cafeteria workers. MDA HR worked with 2 non-profit agencies to place the workers. As it turned out, some were offered full-time employment. This was their stories -- refugees/asylees from war-torn countries, here to escape from persecution in their native countries, and now they have jobs, and new lives. The article made me happy, and I thought that others might enjoy it as well.

If you are ever at M.D.Anderson, you can pick up one of the Messenger magazines that is in just about every waiting room, and read the story yourself.

Nah... nothing so juicy. Just a heartwarming story about new Americans, and new hope, at MDA. I'm not too much for criticizing my employer. If I don't like a place, I do my best to fix the problem, and if that doesn't work, I leave. So far, I've been with MDA the longest
