Houston definitely isn't as ugly as people make it out to be.Yeah there are ugly parts, but what city dosent have that? The only things that makes Houston look kind of bad are the terrible streets and the terrible sidewalks. Other than that Houston is beautiful and modern looking. It looks better than many cities. Take away the mountains in la ,and la would not be considered "beautiful "

Good point. The streets and the sidewalks are a little uneven and jagged but they're still relatively clean for a major city. The greenery and the modernity make the city look shiny and new. It's not bad looking at all. I don't know if I'd call it beautiful but it's def nice looking, no doubt.

Don't ya know? Newark has density and older architecture, of course it's better looking than Houston.

Can't please the urbanists.
