Unfortunate Bump in the road, much like how Ok State views us. Thinking we should have been BCS ready.

I am still pissed off at that game. How do the Cougars explain losing to a team, when that same team got RAPED by UT the week before!

And although I am somewhat of a UH fan... I really think we are a bit overrated, we keep winning against very mediocre teams by 1 or 2 scores. If we really are the 13th ranked team in the country, we should be winning VERY comfortably against NON-BCS conference teams.

I'm not too fond of UTEP because they have proven themselves to be a tough rival for UH. However I have lots of respect for UTEP. I have a few Miner co-workers, and they are super sharp. The school has better fan support than UH. And the Miners are usually competitive in football and basketball. Still really angry at how UTEP bulldozed the Coogs, but UTEP was the better team that night by far.

Absolutely - I'm MAD at UTEP for beating us - but don't dislike them.

Now a lot of us dislike Tulsa! Lots of flopping by the defensive players in the game on Saturday! (Our Rice buddies dislike Tulsa too - so we are united on that one I think!)

Great tongue-in-cheek column in the Chron today on Tulsa flopping...
