Hi,

We are relocating to Houston VERY soon from SC. Recently the neighborhood of Glenbrook Valley (right outside 610 on 45 S) caught our eye but looking at homes online can only tell you so much. Any insider info would be greatly appreciated.

Our price range is 200-300k. For the low 200s we would definitely be open to remodelling.

Thanks!

Are you on Facebook? There is a group on there Glenbrook Valley and friends that would be helpful. There are two websites Glenbrook Valley : Houston Texas Neighborhood Information & Events and http://www.glenbrookvalley.org

You can start there, I can give you any details you want, albeit heavily biased.

I like the homes in Glenbrook Valley a great deal and it's proximity to downtown. However, I don't like the immediate surrounding areas and it became inconvenient for me to do routine errands and shopping because I felt like I needed to drive away from the area to feel comfortable out by myself. Lived in that area for about 4 years.
