Well, at least you have "some" independent theaters, so that's a good thing.
Actually, I was more referring to "small theaters" 2-3 screens, artsy/feel, admission just a few dollars to go see a picture that's been passed along from the main Ciniplexes. NO ZONING=Good News.

Good, River Oaks is eliminated from my list, Sugar Land and Katy are other places I wouldn't want to live. Anymore?

Where are all the "starving artists" independent filmmakers, dancers, actors living? Too bad all the developers are moving in!! This seems to be a trend that's taking place all across the U.S.... I feel it's a big shame. Art/culture make communities vibrant and enrich the atmosphere.

They're mainly scattered throughout the Inner Loop neighborhoods we told you about, and some beyond.
