Apparently Houston's wealthiest area is now Hunters Village and Piney Point over River Oaks according to Houston Culture Map - so you might want to rethink your route when you load the kids up to drive them around for the "better candy"

All I know the police in that area is HORRIBLE. They will pull over for one mile over the speed limit and their attitude is just HORRENDOUS. If you're a minority of any sort I guarantee you will get pulled over and get a ticket. I've seen it many many times while visiting friends in the area. Very sad.

Yeah - I open up the door early for the little ones, and close it shortly after with front lights out. I don't take care of the truckloads that drive thru from wherever.

The big houses, with big yards, were rarely worth the longer walk....!

Just a bit of sarcasm that for some reason, people make (often wrongly) assumptions that nicer neighborhoods give out more candy or somehow better brands of candy -- so they drive a carload or truckload over and let them out street by street.

TimBomb - aren't you one of those required by law to keep your porch lights off on October 31?
