Well if you owned a home in CA. a 1mil home would not be all that elaborate. There is a house here in little ol Arab for 1 mil and it is huge, on a at least an acre of land with lots of trees. Don't know if it has sold but I just know it is just a little beyond my budget.

Sorry, I thought were talking about urban Huntsville. The only way I would spend that kind of money would be for the view. A house atop the mountain that overlooks the city may be worth it, but what kind of view does Hampton Cove provide?

They wanted a house near their daughter's middle school and his work. Sounded like pretty logical thinking to me.
