A reputable window tinting service will/should not provide illegal window tinting. There's nothing wrong with legal shade tinting and the reason is to make the interior of the vehicle is visible. Legal tinting does what it is suppose to do -- that is to lessen the intensity of the sun's rays, keeping the interior a little cooler, and reduce glare. Tinting darker than the legal limit could put you at risk during a traffic stop. Besides a ticket, you could also find yourself having to pay to have it removed and done again at the legal limit.

INMO very dark windows don't look cool, they look like someone is trying to hide something.

Tint goes backwards, the lower the number the darker the tint.

If you're black, they'll pull you over. Also the chances go up more if it's a nice day, chances go down if it's raining or 102 degrees out. Cops are lazy like the rest of us, but they love to racial profile.
Why? Where was race ever brought up?

And I'm sure you can back that up with statistics, right.

You can start your own thread, but no need to dirty this one up, "just because."

I think the legal limit in AL is 35% instead of 32%. Not sure where I got the original number.

Anyway, I don't think I'll want to drive around Madison or Athens paranoid, so I'll go with the legal limit.

If your windows are heavily tinted, how would they know?
Do black people have their windows heavily tinted more than people of other races?
